Lyrics

These Are The Days

Written By: Angela Mock

I see the color of you hair shining in the bright sunlight
as I crack open a beer by the poolside
Bar-B-Que smoke risin' way up high
A little boys' laughter fillin' the night
A dog barking from somewhere out of sight

These are the days
I'll remember when I'm old
Sitting in a chair out on the front porch
Holding your head close to my heart
Sharing our love in the pale moonlight

A little girls' squeal of delight
as she catches a glimpse of a
shiny new bike
Cuddled on the couch after the kids
are tucked in for the night

These are the days
I'll remember when I'm old
Sitting in a chair out on the front porch
Holding your hand close to my heart
Enjoying the silence in the afternoon light

The bright lights fillin the sky
after sundown on the 4th of July
Giggling of girls as they sleepover for the night
Laughter and boasts of boys gathered tight
making bets on who will pitch the lucky strike

These are the days
I'll remember when I'm old
Sitting in a chair out on the front porch
Holding your picture close to my heart
Waiting for my darling to come lead me home tonight

What If?

Written By: Angela Mock

What if?

After so many bars and honky tonks
The smoke, lights and all of the shots

I realized what was slipping by
The night you walked in and caught my eye

What if?
What if we had each other to hold
Through the ups and the downs
As we grew old
What if I had you every night
And you had me the rest of your life?
What if?

You dazzled me with one shy smile
Your auburn hair shining under the lights

For one second I felt like a school boy
Staring through the window at a brand new toy

What if?
What if we had each other to hold
Through the ups and the downs
As we grew old
What if I had you every night
And you had me the rest of your life?
What if?

Then I asked you to dance and the sound of your reply
Made my breath catch as stars appeared behind my eyes

When I took your hand and placed it over my heart
I knew in that instant we would never part

What if?
What if we had each other to hold
Through the ups and the downs
As we grew old
What if I had you every night
And you had me the rest of your life?
What if?

Should I? Could? Make ya wanna Kiss me?

Written By: Angela Mock

Should I, Could I, Make you wanna kiss me?
If I, shim-my
just a little this way,
Could ya, would ya, if I asked ya, baby?

I caught a glimpse
Of you with your boys
Hangin round making lots of noise
Whistling and hollerin like some guys do

Should I, Could I, Make you wanna kiss me?
If I, shimmy
just a little this way,
Could ya, would ya, if I asked ya, baby?

Me and my girls-walking by
With a giggle and a smile
Did I catch your eye?

Should I, Could I, Make you wanna kiss me?
If I, shim-my
just a little this way,
Could ya, would ya, if I asked ya, baby?

With a glance to my side
I see your eyes are focused way down low
With a strut and a glide
I laugh out loud-And wave good-bye

Should I, Could I, Make you wanna kiss me?
If I, shim-my
just a little this way,
Could ya, would ya, if I asked ya, baby?

Should I, Could I, Make you wanna kiss me?

Should I, Could I, Make you wanna kiss me?

Should I, Could I, Make you wanna kiss me?
If I, shim-my
just a little this way,
Could ya, would ya, if I asked ya, baby?
