Bio

Being in the business of turning lemons into lemonade might not have been what Angel Demone had in mind when she dreamed of a music career as a child. Angel’s new album, “Broken to Whole,” is a reflection of the sorrows of her life and powerful passion of her faith. The result is some very potent lemonade. Angel is a graduate of the New School University where she developed the gift she discovered at the tender age of 5. Originally, the “Song Bird,” as she was dubbed at the public schools she attended, wanted to pursue musical training at Juilliard but insurmountable financial circumstances rendered her dream impossible. Little did she know it was a blessing in disguise.

Never one to sit and mope, Angel rolled up her sleeves and chased her rainbow at the New School, where she was thrown into the path of Duane Sarden, an amazing alumni from Juilliard. His unique teaching style and thorough classical training enabled her to mix genres and create an eclectic sound. Angel’s emotions are not limited by her music but allowed to range far and free with her versatility in hip hop, rock, and pop. From her anguished and throaty hip hop to her clear, soaring joy in pop to her laughing frivolity in rock, Angel’s current album records it all. No small feat for someone who composed over 50 songs by age 12. Those first 50 songs, recorded with Lethal Hooks, had the Angel’s Bronx neighborhood singing and humming to her music. Her other work relationships are as varied as her musical style. They include Berkley Alumni & industry engineer Steve Eigner, who worked on Country Grammar Rapper Nelly’s Album, Brian McKnight, & Jolyn Turner. Steve, in particular, has been a great mentor and helped Angel master the digital program Protools LE, used to record most of her songs.

Angel Demone performed in the 2004 Heineken NYC Latino Tour, Rock day by day major event in NYC, and Chetty Red Lounge for Ghetto Norm Entertainment. Which has helped build a strong fan base.

Angel Demone is the Executive Producer of her independently released album “Broken to Whole”, and has sold over 6,000 units world wide. She has been # 1 on www.webradioonelive.com ,and other station affiliated with 356live.com internet radio station network.
