This has only just come to my attention and it is apparently only now that it is getting the push it deserves. The young Angelique wrote much of this contemporary set herself, which is lifted out of the standard mould of today by imaginative musical backgrounds and well-defined songs that go way beyond the meaderings tha many current albums are content to rest on. The music is crisp, precise and enjoyable, Her voice carries you from tune to tune effortlessly almost dreamily. Most cut are an amazing blend of jazz funk.
