Commonly referred to as "A.J." for most of his life, Angelo Jermaine a.k.a. Lo Maine's road to this point has been anything but traditional. Raised between San Francisco, California and Omaha, Nebraska Lo feels like his musical style covers both end of the spectrum. Funky, gangsta West Coast music mixed with the slow, confident Mid West type flow. The Artist/Producer/CEO's unique brand of music can almost inexplicably be described as a vibrant, soulful mesh between the past present and future. Smoothly, mixing the sounds of modern Hip Hop and R&B with, pop, soul, jazz and funk Lo Maine is truly creating a sound that puts him in a category all by himself. "I think you'll find that you can hear a little bit of everything in my music, even a hint of Rock" says Lo. "Therefore, when people ask me who I sound like, I usually tell them I know it sounds cliche but I really have a style that's all my own, and I truly believe that." His slick lines and clever metaphors, combined with his business minded yet street smart lyrics come together to form a refreshingly distinct sound. Influenced by a wide array of musicians (from Duke Ellington to Lil Wayne) across a multitude of different genres and era's, Lo Maine sites Michael Jackson and Tupac Shakur as his biggest musical inspirations. His quiet yet confident demeanor is overshadowed by his almost uncanny natural ability to tap into the one place where good music can't be denied, the soul. Currently serving as the chairman of his own record label/publishing company "Meet Me at the Top Enterprises" Lo Maine is also working as Executive Producer on his debut album "Steady Climbin Constant Grindin" which Lo promises to be a breath of fresh air in the music business.
