Angel Perez

Music has been a part of Angel Perez’s life since his first guitar was put in his hands at the early age of eleven. As a boy, Angel loved walking down the street, strumming his guitar, listening to neighbors clapping and cheering for him. The warmth and acceptance he felt in his heart as he played, gave him the confidence to start writing songs while he was in his teen years. Since then, Angel Perez is a passionate singer/songwriter, guitarist, and performer.

Angel realized from that very first moment, that he couldn’t go one day without strumming his guitar. That would mark the discovery of a life’s passion. He is meant to perform for people of all ages, whether it be putting a smile on ones face, making one feel like dancing, words from a song touching one’s heart and making them forget about any problems they are going through at that moment, are all well worth his Passion in life.

Elvis Presley was and continues to be Angel’s inspiration. It was the way that Elvis moved people, taking music to a different level, an icon in most everyone’s eyes that inspired Angel Perez. With as much as Elvis went through during his lifetime, it was his music that kept him going, as is with Angel Perez.

One of Angel’s original songs, “The Last Letter,” tugs at the heart as he writes about the War. Having served 15 months in IRAQ, Angel expresses in this song the experiences he witnessed, life-changing events in the land of stone and sand, a world away from home.

Angel Perez is an amazing musician who performs with passion. He continues to put everything he has into his music, singing and writing. His inspiration from Elvis will continue to be part of his life in the motivation and drive it takes to become a successful musician.
