Bio

Angels with dirty faces is one of the UK’s most in demand country bands, and is the brainchild of former BCMA award winners and frontman Stuart Landon and Neil Cook.

The band is full of experience, with its lineup having toured and recorded with some big names within country and main stream music, with Stuart and Neil both former members of the critically acclaimed BCMA award winning country band Young Country who then went on to become The Landon Brothers, and worked with acts such as The Bellamy Brothers, Paul Overstreet, Billy Joe Shaver and Carlene Carter.

Prior to Angels With Dirty Faces, Stuart and Neil spent time in Indie band The Establishment and toured with and supported Status Quo, Ocean Colour Scene and other notable names within the music scene.

Also in the lineup of Angels with Dirty Faces is renowned keyboard player and producer Chris Bucknall, guitar prodigy Jack Donald and on drums Dan Jordan.

Adding to the band, on vocals, is Kalli Ashton. Kalli released her debut EP ‘Wings’ in 2015 with her debut single ‘Worth Your While’ getting airplay on BBC Introducing followed by BBC Local Radio thanks to support from Mark Forrest.

The band are influenced by acts such as Lynrd Skynrd, Zac Brown Band, Restless Heart and Little Big Town among others

All these elements form a solid musical base for Stuart's songwriting skills. The band have released a 4 track original acoustic EP and have enjoyed a great year playing country and mainstream festivals as well as supporting wonderful American Country stars including Dylan Jakobsen, Glen Mitchell, Sara Beth and Dawson Reigns.

The bands first single 'Shatter Like Glass', debuted at number 4 on the iTunes country chart and was only held off the Top 3 by the CMA anniversary song 'Forever Country'.

As part of the promotion for the single, Stuart appeared of ‘Country World’ for the Keep It Country Sky TV Channel as well as Country Sessions on Sky Channel 266

‘Shatter Like Glass’ has been extremely well received by both industry media and fans alike and this has set the bar for future releases.
