Angie Arnold's haunting voice and powerfully ethereal piano weave rhythmic and undeniably emotional songs that chronicle a journey of the soul. Retrace this path with her, and listen for the echoes of your own quest along the way.

Biography

Angie Arnold's songs are pieces of her heart - an intense blend of beauty, pain, and hope. Rhythmic, soulful, honest, breath-enabling...her music has been compared to artists such as Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Paula Cole, Kate Bush, and Sting. Angie's evocative vocals and compelling piano are perfectly embellished by Randy Brock's insightful drum and percussion artistry.

Live shows are often presented as a duo - with vocals, piano, djembe, and other hand percussion creating intricate new arrangements of the fully-produced album tracks.

Lyrics

Letting Go

Written By: Angie Arnold

Okay - here I am
Standing on the edge
Wishing I could fly
Wishing I could find it…
The courage to believe that there is magic in this world for me

Here, I’m standing here
Holding fast
And I am so afraid of letting go

Journey to myself
Open to my soul
Praying for some peace
Praying that I find it…
The courage to believe that there is magic in this world for me

Here, I’m standing here
Holding fast
And I am so afraid of letting go

November

Written By: Angie Arnold

Looking for yourself but you are still here
Still connected to the beat of my heart
You will find me in the space in-between
You were my dying dream

Now I know this isn't everything you wanted
Shadow calls to keep you inside the pain
Hold it close to you to keep you warm
Living your dying dream

And you gave up your fear
No better reason to love me
But I opened my eyes
And it's November, my dear

I am waiting here - November, I love you
Sorry now, but never enough
All my tomorrows for your reasons
And you don't really care about yourself

Looking for the place where you've never been
Free of memories of the way that you touched me
Lonely for you here, I miss you again
You were my dying dream

And you gave up your fear
No better reason to love me
But I opened my eyes
And it's November again

Looking for yourself but you are still here
You will find me in-between the darkness
I made my sacrifice
To live in your dying dream

And you gave up your fear
No better reason to love me
But I opened my eyes
And it's November again, my dear
My dear…

Down

Written By: Angie Arnold

Said it’s time you started to know
So he entered…I’ve been waiting for you to come home
And this time I feel your lies against my body
Lying, lying here…and

I will walk on the water, and
I will run through my heart
I will follow you Down
You cannot find me here

Staring back in the mirror, your eyes I see
Searching my pain for the joy of your kill
And this time for the ending
I’ll run to me…to me instead…and

I will walk on the water, and
I will run through my heart
I will follow you Down
Down to where you’ll never find me
Down to where you cannot find me

Still running I head to the water’s edge…you were there
And I saw where you entered, and I saw where you stayed
And no care you could take would still my…still my heart
And I know and I know and I know and I know and I

I will walk on the water, and
I will run through you, run through you
I will follow you Down
Down to where you’ll never find me
Down to where you’ll never find me

I will…
