Formed in 2003, angryboy have always sought to break out from the usual guitar band mould and encompass elements of Drum and Bass, IDM and other electronic genres.
Having spent two years away from the local music scene they once used to dominate, the boys have refined, honed and perfected a sound that they believe has come to represent the absence of things they stand for. Now armed to the teeth, angryboy are looking forward to a very promising autumn / winter gig schedule.
Influences come in the form of 65daysofstatic, At The Drive-In, Apex, Spor and of course Radiohead.
Loving nothing more than putting on a show, recent performances have seen the boys taking to the stage as Thunderbirds, in drag, in possibly illegal warehouses and always with reckless abandon.
angryboy are also hosts of the wildly successful annual Sausagefest and the more sporadic but less legal Disco Bou Bou.
