Aniesia

Aniesia Williams has become one of the fastest rising talents in the R&B genre. With a voice that soothes the soul, Ms. Williams has won over the hearts of many listeners who have heard her music or watched perform live onstage. A native of music-rich North Carolina, Aniesia’s story began in the school gospel choir. Throughout her years singing in various choirs, Aniesia trained both her voice and ear to enable her to bellow out some of the most well-known gospel songs in music. As her faith lead to her sing in church, the response from the congregation led Aniesia to believe she had been given a blessing, and she’s since then been determined to share that gift with the world.

Switch the scene to the Washington, D.C. Metro area, the next area to witness the Aniesia Williams experience. A natural southern belle, Aniesia’s charm brought something different to the music scene and she began to blossom. Not only has Aniesia begun to perform live in local venues, and get local radio stations from her hometown to play her music, but she has also appeared in national publications such as Rolling Out Magazine.
Word of her performances and voice has made its way through the streets and more people are becoming converted fans. Aniesia’s presence is now being requested at different venues and for various events. And since she believes in honing her craft, you can find her at different Open Mic spots throughout the DC area, such as the Loft Warehouse or at Up & Up at Liv.

Aniesia is currently working on her debut album, while continuously performing. Her album is due to drop in the fall, and will be available at various online outlets. Aniesia’s current single, “Can’t Be a Fool”, has been ranked in the Top 20 among DC area artists on Reverbnation.com, and is now available for download at all of the major online music stores.
