Animal Beats are a Irish based rock band with indie infusions formed in late 2007. Active musicians in the Irish gig scene, Animal Beats have gained a reputation in the wider South-West region as a high-energy, high-entertainment and high-talent rock band showcasing original technique and musicality.
Their biggest achievement yet however is the fact that they were placed in the Battle for Bob Dylan competition, Only 5 bands had the chance to take part in the completion. They have gained national recognition and international radio play. Various magazines and newspapers reviewed the band with nothing but positive comments and quotes. Winners of "Best Radio Plug-In" at the '09 Irish Youth Music Awards with one of their original "I'll Be Waiting", This was a massive achievement for the young Limerick band. The band has also just become overall winners of Limerick's Got Talent 2009.
