Animal is a larger than life, modern classic rock n' roll band, swiftly kindling a generous buzz in Austin with their massively heavy, 70's laden vibe. Thick and powerful guitar tones emanate from wall to wall stacks of vintage amplifiers and thunderous, lumbering drums rattle your equilibrium into submission. This slightly southern and groove oriented brew equals an explosive, mildly psychadelic and louder than hell live show.

A product of three seasoned Austin veterans, Animal is fronted by ex-High Watt Crucifixers' bassist Derek Einkauf, this time around on vocals and guitar, bassist Mike Sellman from Austin stoner-rock icons Lions, and drummer Chris Alaniz, also formerly of High Watt Crucifixers and ex-touring member of punk-metal legends AMEN.

Their exciting 4-song EP is out now, all over Austin and is partnered with an assortment of high quality merchandise that is always available completely for free. In early 2012, Animal will be realeasing their debut full length album, which promises to be an epic reminder of the lost art of pure and uncompromising rock and roll.
