An Immaculate Affair

An explosion of catchy guitar riffs, surrounded by electronic melodies, pounded by dark fusion bass lines, driven by sonic dance beats, and finally held by Mychael’s visceral haunted images that explore the similarities of divine opposites like life and death or love and war. This forms a pure unfiltered electro/indie rock quintet called An Immaculate Affair.

An Immaculate Affair encompasses numerous styles invoking everyone’s influences including such bands like New Order, Depeche Mode, The Cure, and more. The band formed early 2005, Mychael (vocals), Steve (bass, vocals), Chris (guitars), Derek (keyboards, electronic percussion), Ash (drums), and Nikol (visual and performance art) to create a sound, look, and feel that is never ordinary.

Recorded at The Shack North in October 2005, An Immaculate Affair released their debut EP, “An Immaculate EP” which managed to create an impressive web presence, allowing their music to speak for itself. While playing venues like south Florida’s famous Churchill’s Pub, and indie social scene PS 14, An Immaculate Affair quickly garnering a sizeable following and captivating audiences with their intense artistic live performances with sheer dedication to their craft. An Immaculate Affair is determined to stand out while making a name for themselves as a band with diversity, energy, and longevity.

Currently The band is the #2 band in the country going up against 99 other bands on the filmties.com music competition winning national attention and creating more and more new fans everyday. The contest is support by some of the top film directors and producers around. The contest ends March 18th, 2006 and the winner will go into development to have their songs be in a feature film, along with national press, and promotions.
