Bio

THE BRONX is the home of the World Champion Yankees, the home of Hip-Hop, and the home of Animositi.
Born and raised in the North East section of the BX boro, Animositi was a manchild in the promised land. The only son of his Jamaican parents, who found the American Dream to be a New York reality.
Growing up in a home of drug traffic, robbery, and shootouts in the 80's set the tone for what would be the beginning of a wild life. The shocking murder of his father, left the neighborhood and family in shock, and sent his mother into a drug addiction that would go on for 7 years.
With no outlet of guidance Animositi was another 80's baby raised in the aftermath of the crack epidemic. With only a public school guidance counsler to act as a form of medium, it wasnt until she suggested writing that Animositi started to share his true feelings. " In the streets you cant show no emotion, you cant cry you cant even laugh to much it shows vunerablity. But when you writing you can express ya self however you want."
After hearing Biggies " Everyday Srtuggle", Animositi turned his words into lyrics. Shortly there after began listening to rap music and writing his own story in the process. It wasnt until summer of 1996, when Animositi came across a mixtape titled "D.J. Clue Summertime 96'", that he tranformed his poetic like style into a quick-witted M.C. As the tape played introducing him to Jay-Z, DMX, the Lox, Ma$e, and other rappers that would go on to lead the rapgame into the new millenium, it was evident that this was his calling.
Almost 12 years later, thru the beefs, battles, era's, saga's, dynasty's.etc etc. Hip Hop is in need of a born star. The music that once inspired the now 23 year old, are old schools at noon. Having scars to account for a tumultuous journey to this point, Animositi shows no signs of stopping. The war to be a rap legend has just begun!
