"Djazairess"

Inventive, charming, outgoing, natural with a touch of extravaganza. These are the world that qualifiy best Anissa Bensalah, who gave a tremendous show, on February 20., in the Ibn Zeydoun concert hall, in Algiers. A concert that will be remembered, with a sensationnal mix of musical influences. - Yacine Idjer

"Les Inrockuptibles"

Anissa Bensalah’s way of mixing and twisting musical genre is in no way a fad or a trend. Born from a brasilian mother and an algerian father, she is making her way through three cultures and three languages, arabic, portuguese and french, with a subtle and unique approach. Her first album ‘Matriz’, has a very fresh and acoustic sound, mainly inspired by afro brasilian music, with a jazz feel. - Louis-Julien Nicolaou

"Babel Med"

Anissa has a unique tone and voice that invokes a physical presence, just by listening to her music. Impressive ! - Nadia Khouri - Dagher

"Radio Nova - DJ Remy Kolpa Kopoul"

Her shimmering voice enables her to switch charmingly from Portuguese to Arab. With her first album “Matriz”, Anissa Bensalah shows her very own afro-brasilian World, with 5 characteristic and audacious musicians on her side. - Remy Kolpa Kopoul

"Telerama"

She sings brazilian forro with an arabic soul and invents andalousian jazz in the land of vaudou. Don’t miss ‘Matriz’, an inventive and elegant first album - Anne Berthod
