Canadian-born singer/songwriter Anita Kristine is creating her first solo CD designed to appeal to a wide spectrum of listeners from alternative to adult contemporary. Her music is about authenticity and honesty. Her ultimate goal is to connect with people through the power of music, sharing her personal truths in the hope of inspiring others. “Life is such an amazing journey when you focus on the journey, rather than the outcome…” a way of thinking that Anita strives to embrace. From singing harmonies in a musical family at the age of three to amateur musical theatre and instrumental music performances, to the journey towards becoming a professional singer/musician at eighteen, she has continued developing her musical talents and artistic voice. 4 years on the road… 13 suitcases… 34 nights straight… 51 weeks a year made it clear to Anita that there was nothing she’d rather do than write and share music with people everywhere. A gifted songwriter, composer and performer, Anita Kristine touches the hearts of audiences with her original melodies and lyrics that share and reflect her own life’s journey and continuing personal and artistic growth. It was a month of living in solitude in a house with a piano and a guitar on the beautiful island of Maui that at last brought her to the point of giving her Self permission to Be, that culminated in Anita taking to the stage again to reclaim her destiny as a singer and songwriter.
