ANITA SYMONE WAS TRULY BORN TO SING. FROM THE AGE OF 3, ANITA HAS BEEN SINGING, FROM HER PARENTS TO RELATIVES AND FRIENDS, EVERYONE KNEW THAT ANITA WAS BLESSED WITH AN AMANZING GIFT. A GOD GIVIN GIFT; AND IT IS WITH THIS GIFT THAT SHE CONTINUES TO BLESS ALL THAT HEARS HER.
IN ANITAS OWN WORDS; I just love the Lord Jesus Christ. He has blessed me with a gift that allows me to be a blessing for others. And I Love it, Many people go and live their lives as best as they can and go through a lot, but under Gods anointing and guidance I want people to be encouraged, uplifted and inspired and know that God is no doubt in control. God is bigger and greater than that situation or circumstance that they may be going through. Music touches feelings that words cannot and maybe from a song that God has placed in my heart and on my lips, someone if only just one person can find the strength to reach out to God and be blessed.
Anita has attended The Rock of Deliverance, Gods Holy Temple Church since being saved at the age of 13, under the Pastorialship of Emma P Davis.
The Late Richard T Davis and his wife Assistant Pastor Emma Davis founded the Rock of Deliverance Church, with teachings of the Apostle Doctrine; the belief in the birth, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Also believing in the baptism of the Holy Ghost, according to Matthew 28:19 and Acts 2:38 and unyielding faith in God and that With God all things are possible.
I do my own writing and all of my songs are pure inspiration. I pull from my feelings when I write. Ive seen what God can do. I have tasted of his goodness. He has blessed me with a sincere compassion for people. And in just seeing what God has done, is doing and by faith is going to do, I want people everywhere, to come to know and love God as I do. Plus I just love to sing.

*Sang at the 11th annual Congressional Black Caucus Honoring the then Cleveland Mayor Carl Stokes.
*1st place in 2003 Image Entertainment Talent Showcase
*Adult Vocal Finalist in the 2003 Stars of Tomorrow Championship
*Performed at a Fundraiser Champaign for the 2004 presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich that was broadcast live throughout the nation via the Internet.
*Award recipient at the 1st annual Strictly Ministry awards event
*Adult Female Vocal Finalist for the AMGA awards
*Most notably has opened for some of todays best known gospel artist such as:
Karen Clark-Sheard,
Ben Tankard,
Melba Moore,
As well as secular hip hop artist Eminem.
