GREAT NEWS!!! Anjuli has just released her first mixtape. With only 10 tracks ("it's more like a variety pack tape, every song has a different flavor to it" she says), Anjuli spits hot fi-ah over beats by Jus Blaze and Alchemist to name a few, with 2 of the 10 tracks featuring original R&B.

If you love hip hop, you have something in common with Anjuli Stars. But, if you don't love hip hop, you can still vibe to this chic. Anjuli is a 20-year old songwriter/lyricist from Miami, FL. Her music is hip hop and R&B soul fused to create a sound that Anjuli describe's as "old kicks with fresh laces", an old school meets new school approach. Her influences range from Latin rhythms to Motown to Nat King Cole and The Bee Gees. "Everything that I've ever heard from a baby's cry to my mother's laugh has influenced me." Anjuli has been composing music since the age of 13. She has written over 300 lyrics and over 100 songs in her young career. As a young rapper, Anjuli has won emcee battles around her town in Miami, including Star Night at Don Carters and Open Mic /Freestlye Battle at Royal Bar on South Beach, stunning crowds with her natural ability to dominate on the mic. Anjuli has performed in events on stage and television nationwide. As a singer, she is a 3-time winner of Showtime at The Apollo in Harlem, NY. She has also been featured on Miami radio stations such as Y-100 and Amor 107.5 in which she won first place in a singing competition which awarded $1000. Recording since the age of 13, Anjuli has been arranging and hopes to get into producing. She is currently studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA as a Songwriting major.
