Anna Elizabeth

Much of my soul comes from being an Ann Arbor native. The good vibes and liberal spirit of the town have given me opportunities I am forever thankful for. I've been surrounded with music and art all my life that has inspired me a person and as an artist. I've been influenced lyrically and melodically by artists like Ray LaMontagne, Citizen Cope, City and Colour, Erin McCarley, Civil Twilight, Ingrid Michaelson, John Mayer, Paulo Nutini and infinitely many more. They've all influenced the jazzy acoustic soul that is deeply rooted in my music and they have given me music that I love today and will love forever. My music comes from a love of music and a love of words, and the beauty of those worlds coming together. All of my experience is in Michigan, I've played The Blind Pig, The Crowfoot, The Sound and Sights Festival, Passport, Crazy Wisdom, Saline October Fest, The Quarter Bistro, and I've opened for artists three separate times at The Ark.
