Leaves of Gold

Written By: Annalisa Valery

You’re surrounded by fading beauty
You have to admit
The world might be your stage, but it’s still a mystery
You’re trying to unravel it, the pieces and the bits
You can’t understand it, you can’t understand it

As the leaves of gold are falling
The story of your life seems to get only better
But your sad soul is calling
For help
You’ve written countless letters
Little treasures that you’ve never sent

You live in an eternal autumn
Our joys can make you weep
You can hardly bear life; it seems you cannot handle wisdom
When the world is waking up, you will fall asleep
The ocean of your never-ending tears is deep

As the leaves of gold are falling
The story of your life seems to get only better
But your sad soul is calling
For help
You’ve written countless letters
Little treasures that you’ve never sent

Will you ever know what it feels like to smile?
Will you be able to enjoy things for a while?
Do you know that precious little moments are the key?
When will you see that?

As the leaves of gold are falling
The story of your life seems to get only better
But your sad soul is calling
For help
You’ve written countless letters
Little treasures that you’ve never sent

You’ve written countless letters
Little treasures that you’ve never sent

Farewell Serenade

Written By: Annalisa Valery

Your eyes are soft and weary
From your gentle touch
Speaks a certain melancholy
I’ll miss you oh so much

We lived our little fairytale until reality
Turned out to have other plans for you and me
I can’t wipe the sadness off your face
But give me one last tight embrace
Let our memories be filled with everything we used to be

The more you tried to hold on
The more we drifted apart
Though you and I are far from done
Here our ways will part

We lived our little fairytale until reality
Turned out to have other plans for you and me
I can’t wipe the sadness off your face
But give me one last tight embrace
Let our memories be filled with everything we used to be

My belief in you will never fade
Neither will my love
This is my farewell serenade
But I’ll be thinking of
You

There You Go

Written By: Annalisa Valery

I've been watching you grow
All these years, oh
You were right by my side

Now there you go
And though I know
You will be fine

I can't loose this bittersweet feeling
But time will heal that
Yes, it will
Don't mind me
Just spread your wings and fill
Every day with happiness

Please remember this
All the best is
Yet to come

Yes, I will miss you
But I'll reminisce
About the way you've become so great

I can't loose this bittersweet feeling
But time will heal that
Yes, it will
Don't mind me
Just spread your wings and fill
Every day with happiness

Now you've packed your bags
Don't look back
You always know where to find me

There you go
There you go
There you go
