She is wicked!
Misunderstood by her peers and often the outcast because of a voice that was larger than she.
At age five, her talent was noticed by a grammar school teacher. By seven, she had won local, state and national talent competitions. Performing at stadium openings and in local theater companies is what set her apart from kids her age.
In a performing arts high school, she finally found her niche. She added acting, dancing and musical instruments to her list of talents. In performing arts circles, she was finally popular. In her last year of high school, she found herself pregnant. She might as well have been green. Choosing, unlike many of her peers, to marry and be a stay at home Mom, she cared for her family and only sang lullabies.
She is wicked! She soars against the wind through adversity.
As a twenty-one year old mother of two, her husband left her. He turned off the water and lights and walked out the door. With the dead beat Dad gone, she knew that her faith would sustain her. Obtaining an education would be her road map to a stable home for her two boys. Over the years, she held part time jobs and earned her B.A.. She will complete her Masters this Fall.
It is her time to be in Wicked with the wind at her back!
As the sister who has watched her sacrifice her dreams, passions and God given talent for her children, I urge you to listen and become a real life Wizard.
