My Love

Written By: Ann Driscoll

I could stay up all night
Just to talk to you
Conscious till the morning bright
Even if I had shit to do

It's always better when you let go
It's always better than to never know
It's always better, better, better

I could say the dumbest things
Just to crack a smile out of you
I'm not the best at flirting
But how I could try for you

It's always better when you let go
It's always better than to never know
It's always better, better, better

You can do with my love
Whatever you please
It'll still be my love
Always a part of me
The world can see in my love
Whatever it sees
It'll still be my love
Always a part of me

I could stay up all night
Just to talk to you
Conscious till the morning bright
Even if I had shit to do

It's always better when you let go
It's always better than to never know
It's always better, better, better

I Need A Reason

Written By: Ann Driscoll

If I could learn to sing
My voice would soar like a bird's
If we could learn to love
We'd find it's what we prefer (to hating)

I need what everybody needs
I need a reason to believe
I'm not alone in the world

If we could hold our tongues
We'd finally have something to say
If we could lose control
We might start to get it our way

(I bet you) Wanna know what everybody needs
(I'll tell you) We need a reason to believe
We're not alone in the world

If we could read the news
We'd wake from our ignorant bliss
And when we sit in pews
Learn how to love and assist (and not hate)

I need what everybody needs
I need a reason to believe
We're not alone in the world
We will be loved by a boy or a girl
A change is coming our way
It might unravel today

Let Me Win

Written By: Ann Driscoll

I know that I gave up on you
A really long time ago
But god, please let me win

I know I'm not the smartest kid
I never get my homework done
But god, please let me win

The more I think of losing
The more I just lose myself
The more I take it step by step
The more I improve myself

I know my mind is filled with fear
I never doubt the bogeyman
But god, please let me win

I know my tongue is brusque and sharp
But that hasn't stopped a lot of loudmouths
From winning, god why can't that be me?

The more I think of losing
The more I just lose myself
The more I take it step by step
The more I improve myself

I know that I gave up on you
A really long time ago
But god, please let me win
