Originally from Green Bay Wisconsin, Anne Deming has a history of thrilling audiences with her powerhouse vocals. She is also know for sprinkling a little playful stage banter and wit throughout every live show. While attending college in Chicago, she hit the stage between classes, joined various bands, but found her calling as an acoustic singer/songwriter haunting wine bars, music festivals and listening rooms throughout the city. She possesses a rare gift for soaring melodies and a voice which moves seamlessly from bluesy growls to achingly, sweet tones. Notably, Anne has enjoyed sharing the stage with Melissa Ferrick, Amy Rigby, Dan Bern and Jennifer Marks to name just a few, in addition to being selected for participation in the WXPT/Best Buy “Find 'em First” promotion. Anne's music has been featured on several compilation CDs and her song “For You” placed in Billboard Magazine's Songwriting contest. Taking pleasure and inspiration from almost every genre of music, Anne has been showcased at the Midwest Music Summit (Cleveland), MECA Music Conference (Chicago) and NEMO Music (Boston).Her music catalog has been described as country, rock, blues and even folk but regardless of what you call it, she is always captivating. This Twin Cities artist continues to delight audiences year after year,writing and recording new music almost every month. This latest song “Flutter” is so special that it demanded to be heard as soon as it could be mixed, mastered and shared so Anne dove headfirst into recording the single with every ounce of talent the Twin Cities has to offer. Enlisting the musical artistry of Steve Goold (Sara Bareilles) and Tommy Barbarella (The New Power Generation) Anne then laid down some incredible tracks with Eric Blomquist at RiverRock Studios in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This sweet, energetic song should bring you nothing but joy.
