Ann Holly Will Be Performing In Nashville
Written by Paul on October 4, 2008 – 6:19 pm

Ann Holly is in the middle of a TEN STATE tour of the East Coast to promote her latest full length
CD, Who We Are and will coming to Nashville as part of her tour. Her stop here is Oct. 8th at the Indigo
Hotel. She’ll be performing at 9pm.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I went to Ann’s page, but I was pleasently surprized. Her songs are
accessable and easy to like pop/rock styled gems. She has a sweetness about her writing that’s refreshing,
and her songs also have a great ‘radio’ friendliness to them. ”Shame on You” is one of my favorites.

Ann, grew up in the New Jersey/NYC area and has played numerous shows both there and here. Her performances include Kenny’s Castaways, Rockwood Music Hall, Arlene’s Grocery and The Bitter End in NYC, and Lyrix, and The Commodore in Nashville. Ann is currently doing a spot tour of NYC, including an acoustic showcase at Delancey’s, an appearance at Connolly’s and one at The Bitter End. She is featured in the current issue of INDIE SOUNDS magazine and if that isn’t enough, her music can be heard on several radio stations including: Homegrown Radio NJ,
WCRX, Radio Ugly, and 95.7 The Panther. Recently, Ann’s song, ‘Who We Are’, was featured on the Westside Will Radio Unsigned Showcase.

Try to catch her show if you can - it should be a good show.

Bio

Originally from the Garden State, Ann recently relocated to the music friendly confines of Nashville, Tennessee. While there, she has been busy writing new material with a talented bunch of up-and-coming singer/songwriters. This Fall 2008, Ann’s co-written song “Burn” will be released on recording artist Teresa Peterson’s new EP (untitled at press time).

Before venturing to Nashville to pursue new projects, Ann recently finished writing and recording her debut record “Who We Are.” Co-written by Ann, Nunzio Signore, Jake Stigers, and Matt Schreiber “Who We Are” has received a number of positive reviews and is now available at CD Baby and iTunes. The strength of her material recently earned her a spot in SESAC’s “Writers On The Storm” showcase in New York City. In October 2007, Ann was apart of the “Live From Nashville” show comprised of some of the best singer/songwriters in Nashville put on by Big Tractor Publishing signed writer Mike Willis. Most recently, Ann signed with LadyLake Management, run by Cindy L. D’Adamo. Radio play has also started to heat up. 95.7FM The Panther servicing Villa Rica/ Bremen Georgia, RadioUgly.com, HGRNJ (Home Grown Radio New Jersey), are just a few stations that have been plugging Ann’s music.

Despite moving to Nashville, Ann is still a frequent performer at some of New York City’s most storied clubs. In October 2007, Ann gathered some of the best up-and-coming New York and Nashville based singer/ songwriters and held the first ever Nashville style round on The Bitter End stage. Most recently, Ann has performed at Rockwood Music Hall, Arlene’s Grocery, Kenny’s Castaways, and The Bitter End.
