Annie McKinnon 'A talented songstress'... the songs deal with love, life and the world, mixed with guitar skills and unique vocal style, its soothing... her career including performances on tour in China, Japan, and at various festivals and concerts around Australia, including the Woodford Folk Festival and Tamworth Country Music Festival. Recently she supported JESS HARLEN's NEON HEARTACHE Album launch at Supper Club (Sydney) and also Francesca Sidoti's album launch at 'NOTES' Newtown, attracting attention from DRUM MEDIA. Annie has also played along side artists such as Sara Storer and Kieran Glasgow, Kidwolf, Rosie and George, Cisco Caesar, Ian Moss, Wes Carr and Loving Cup. Her music is a unique mix of sound, conscious and innocent. fresh.
Her Debut EP 'The Endless Run', independent release from Peppermint Records on the 1 FEB 2011, showcases the individual sound of Annie McKinnon and has recently received attention from Triple J Unearthed,with two of the tracks placing 1 on the roots chart for 5 weeks.
