I am 23yrs old i have ben playing the drums since i was 3yrs of age.My uncle Joe tought me untill i was 15 then i kinda started branching out to diff musicians and teachers as well as the voice of God. I have ben playing in church sice i was 5.With many test and trials i have over come with the help of the the Lord he has ben a blessing to me in my music ministry. I have ben apart of The Church Of The Living God all my life and has ben playing for them for 15 yrs.With the help of the Lord i have become district Head drummer or the midwest and has held that position for 7yrs.I currently attend Community church of God in Decatur,Il where Elgin Hawthorne jr is the pastor.I have actively played with numerous of churches and groups in the city/stated some Gospel and some RnB,I am not currently seeking more experience and more ways to enhance my skills because i believe there is always room for growth esp. in your tallent.
In my style of playing i would like to say on the Gospel note Calvin Rodgers has ben a role model and great influence on my playing him and Thomas Mcreedy on the jazz and RnB note Dennis Chambers and Aaon Spears,Rex and Tony Royster jr are a great inpact on my playing and i also cannot leave out the greatest female drummer ever Shelia E.

I believe wht sets me apart from any other drummer is tht i play not just on how i feel and wht is being said but how God use me i might not do all the fancy stuff all the time but my good friend Steven Warsaw told me "it is not how fancy u are out of pocket but it is how well u stay in pocket." a real tight drummer is a drummer tht is in pocket all the way i believe tht if u cant stay in the pocket how are u gona know where to go back to when u leave out the pocket? I just allow God to use me any wich way i can.
