Bio

Carlos and Bryan started the band back in 2007 for a highschool talent show. The guys figured it'd be a one show type band and that they would disband right after. They continued the band through out 2008 but began to have identity issues as to wether they were a grindcore, metal or hardcore band.

It wasn't until February 2009 when Walter and Chris hopped on board that AOS started to shape into the band that it is today. AOS spent the summer of 2009 opening for many local tour packages that came through the area that included The Summer Slaughter Tour and various high profile metal tours. They also focused on writing for their debut EP "Creations". The EP is based around a Sci-fi story that Walter and Greg Dillon(ex. vocals) wrote together.

In the fall of 2009 the band received a big help when Misha Mansoor of Periphery(Sumerian, Roadrunner, Distort) offered to take over in the Engineering and Producing of "Creations"

Unfortunately one week before going on a week long tour with In Alcatraz 1962, AOS and Greg Dillon had to part ways. The band held tryouts and accepted submissions but were surprised when they received a tryout from Alex Mola. Alex at eighteen is the youngest of the band and had just graduated from high school, so the band had high doubts about him but his technique was exactly what they were looking for. The band took a chance and brought him along the tour as a "Fill-in". He was officially accepted into band after his second show.

From January to August 2010, AOS has toured through the midwest and east coast playing in states that include Kansas, Missouri, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Back home they were being asked by Outerloop and Apex booking to open for tour packages in MD, VA, and DC.

In April 2010, AOS was contacted by Rick Fortier of Halfwest Management located in Michigan. Since then Rick has been a tremendous help to the band not only by promoting their upcoming release on dozens of online blogs and site, but also by being a friend and advisor to the band.

"Creations" was officially released as a digital download on August 24, 2010 via iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, and Napster. Based on a sales report by iTunes, "Creations" had over 200 downloads in the first four days.
The Physical release date was on September 24, 2010. A special "AOS cd release show" was held at a venue in Mt Airy, MD. The show was packed with fans, friends and family. The band walked away that night with over $800 in merch sales.
