Discography

Storm clouds gather closing in here I
Stand in the pouring rain
Broken windows in the church wall
I  see your face in the stain
Contemplate your destination
I’m hoping you feel no pain

In the morning we will know
Which way the wind does blow
When the light has come and gone
              The shadow lingers  on

Ooh say it ain’t so
Who told you to go
You left us all wondering
What did you need us to know
I can never let you go
It’s so hard to let you go

Walking softly through the garden
Pass by the flowers of stone
Feel my heart begin to harden
You’ve gone and left me all alone

In the moonlight shades of gray
Will hide these tears away
Come the morning I will know
Which way the wind does blow
Ooh say it ain’t so
Ooh it hurts and it shows
You left us all wondering
What did you want us to know
I can never let you go
It’s so hard to let you go

Ooh loss of control
You fell down the hole
You left us all wandering
Where did you think we would go
I had to let you know
I can’t ever let you go
Try to hide it but it shows

Bio

Anonymous Stars is the brainchild of studio session musicians Dan Marshall and Justin Aldridge.  Veterans of the Atlanta music industry scene, Dan and Justin met as they started playing together on sessions for some of the biggest names in Hip Hop and Pop (Killer Mike, Big Boi, Carlos Santana, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Nelly, Chamillionaire), with several Gold and Platinum records to their credit as sidemen players.

Their debut record, Lucid Dreams of the Apocalypse is their own collaborative vision as artists in their own right, firmly ensconced in Rock, polished to a sheen, and beholden to no one but themselves.

Anonymous Stars plays eclectic, non-formulaic Rock/Power-Pop with a hard rock edge. Elements of Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Muse, and 21 Pilots, a dash of Jeff Buckley, hints of David Bowie can all be found in their DNA, but evolved to a new form, where style and technical prowess coexist with accessible songwriting and bold new sonic textures.
