Another White Suburbanite

Most days I think of something clever to say, and some days I get the opportunity to say it. One such day I made an offhand comment to a friend, "If I ever get good at playing piano, I'm going to make a Ben Folds knock-off called Another White Suburbanite, because that's what the world needs, another white guy who wears glasses and plays the piano." Granted that notion was inspired by Improv Everywhere's roots, but the name was catchy, and as I began writing songs, they all had a common theme - they were funny. Having plenty of experience performing in bands and in theatre, I took the opportunity to not merely play the songs I wrote, but try to build a character and brand around it, putting significant emphasis on quality, entertaining shows, not just a band playing their music.
