Anthems of the Void is an art rock band born from the startling and inventive minds of producers and core members Bradford Reed, a longtime heavyweight in New York’s avant garde music scene and Canadian experimental singer and visionary lyricist Caylie Staples.

Joined by Geoff Gersh on guitar, they bring interstellar art rock to the stage. Reed’s self-invented instrument, The Pencilina creates a sonic melding of strings and brass, percussive riffs and ambient noise that he combines with rock drumming and electronics to sculpt the perfect aural backdrop for interplay with Staples’ haunting, siren-like vocals and hyper-creative lyricism. The result is post-apocalyptic rock drenched in electronica that reads like a groove etched dispatch from a lush and futuristic landscape.
