"CMR Nashville Radio"

I am a great fan of originality and a big supporter of British country music. In Anthony we have a guy who writes sensational lyrics and performs them in a quite superb way. The future of homegrown country music is safe in the capable hands of artists like Anthony Duke and I look forward to watching him progress over the coming years - Stuart Cameron - CMR Nashville Radio

Bio

"Modern country/rock from a UK Singer/songwriter who sounds like he could be a top Nashville artist" (Metro Country).

Born in London to an Irish Mum and English Dad, Anthony’s early years were spent growing up in the Irish community of Kilburn. He got his first guitar when he was 9. Forming his first band at Secondary School, he threw himself into the live scene. After playing all the key London venues of the day he signed a publishing deal with Chappells at 19. Over the years he’s gigged in the UK, Europe and US. On the recording side Anthony has worked in most major studios in the UK including Abbey Road and Air, with producers including Peter Collins who also produced Bon Jovi.

A trip to Nashville and live performance during the Americana Music Festival, led to a song writing session with Bobby E Boyd, who also wrote the platinum selling ‘Bless The Broken Road’ for The Rascal Flatts, the collaboration resulted in ’May You Be Loved’ the title track of Anthony’s new album.

Recorded in Nashville, Los Angeles and The UK The album’s been picking up some great reviews along with airplay on both regional BBC Stations and well respected Country Music and Americana Stations in the UK, Europe and USA .

The song ‘Stain’ spent 9 weeks on the Hotdisc chart and was co- produced with Gary Carter who has also worked as Musical Director for Faith Hill.

Another track from the album 'Gold To Me' is currently in both the Hotdisc top 30 chart and British and Irish European top 10.

Out on the road playing solo acoustic gigs, as a duo or with a full band Anthony delivers his own brand of Americana originals and covers that are well received wherever he plays.
