The best kept secret in music

Anthony Marcus is a talented young guitarist who has a remarkable gift for crafting electrifying instrumental compositions that play to the strengths of his considerable virtuosity.
This four-track EP, self described as home recordings, serves as an excellent introduction to a New Jersey musician who deserves an opportunity to find his place among not only people like Ernie Isley and Jimi Hendrix, but Jeff Beck, Joe Satriani and others.
There is little doubt that Marcus can play his instrument with the best; it's his writing skills that ultimately lift his performance beyond most rock guitar pomposity. His music is instantly captivating and yet strong enough to bear repeated listens.
His guitar symphonies are nothing less than spectacular, mixing mellifluous solos in the context of contemporary rock and fusion. It would truly be a shame if the world dosen't discover the talents on Anthony Marcus. He deserves to be a household name. Somebody give this guy a chance! - Mark Newman - Progression Magazine (Issue # 46)

If you took a chamber orchestra, added a Nu-Metal band, a New Age Jazz band, Electronic (Trance/Industrial) Dance, Funk, Urban, and Folk, and mixed them all together into a musical ''stew'', then season it with a little guitar ''magic'', you would get a blend so diverse and eclectic, yet pleasing to the ears of all.

These are the ingredients that Anthony Marcus ''brings to the table'' to create sounds once thought to be impossible to merge. Born in Oceanside, California, raised in Passaic, New Jersey, Anthony Marcus was influenced by music at an early age.

Musicians such as Chopin, Jimi Hendrix, Wes Montgomery, Todd Rundurgen, Steve Vai, and a host of others have all played a part in the molding, shaping and educating of this upcoming musician/producer.
