Bio

Mr. Quiji, born Marques Parks, is originally from the now infamous west side of Atlanta, Georgia. The Simpson Road native began dominating local area talent shows and quickly worked his way up the ladder of the highly competitive, underground Atlanta rap scene. In gaining recognition and notoriety, Quiji was sought after by several up and coming groups thus allowing him to further expand his reach throughout the southeast, ranging from the Carolinas to Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee and so on. Through hard work and dedication, coupled with a steadily increasing popularity and rising demand for his brand of music, Quiji began headlining shows all around Atlanta. Having won a variety of awards, as well as every showcase he has either entered or been invited to, Mr. Quiji is a natural born live performer.

He has continued to network and collaborate with other artists, in addition to developing his solo projects, yet Marques also took it upon himself to enroll in college where he met a likeminded, aspiring artist named Solow G the Mexiking.

Solow G the Mexiking, born Jese Galvan, became aware of his love for music at a very young age. Always surrounded by his musical family, especially amongst his three brothers, the oldest being a dynamic songwriter, and two others being accomplished vocalists, Solow was always looking for something to set himself apart from his siblings. Then he discovered his love for freestyle rap. Given his singing background and Spanish music influence, it was always assumed that he would go on to be the front man in a more traditional band. However, Solow decided to take his musical career in a different direction. While he is still a talented vocalist, instead of becoming a singer like his siblings, he decided he would be a rap artist.

After developing his catalog of songs, it was time to start performing live. Eventually, Solow caught the eyes of several promoters who began letting him open for notable acts around the southeast.

As time passed, and despite the fact that Quiji and Solow were initially pursuing their individual careers at the time, the two emcees became quick friends. The development of their music began by simply bouncing song ideas off one another, then passing instrumentals back and forth, then co-writing choruses and through this natural, creative process their own group venture was born under the name AN-TI.

It was immediately apparent that the two artists have an undeniable chemistry together from the first time they set foot on stage as a group. And while they have shared the stage with T-Pain, Lil Wayne, TI, Killer Mike, Nappy Roots, Bow Wow, Lil Scrappy, 112, The Dungeon Family and many others over the years - AN-TI has evolved their own distinct brand of music.

While both are uniquely talented and gifted individuals, the synergy of combining the two is nothing short of phenomenal whether live on stage or recorded. Their music not only reflects their real life experiences, but also focuses on current events, social change, and the general state of the world today. The musical passion and depth that these two gentlemen posses is, unfortunately, something that is missing from many of today's artists; thus, allowing AN-TI to be highly adaptable, stylistically diverse and widely marketable.
