Antique Doll have been together for four years as a duo and are now a live four-piece. They began as an experiment to see what would happen in 2006.
They have been played on Stuart Maconie's BBC Radio 6 show Freakzone twice in the last three months (the songs 'Rockinghorse' and 'Flyght' were featured). Their song 'Flyght' was featured on a free CD with the fabulous 'Shindig' magazine
Their music has also been featured on a Slackjaw Film called Hard XS. They have regularly played the Redbricks 'twisted folk' nights in London ( The Gladstone'), Manchester (Dulcimer) and Sheffield (Stockroom/Cremorne) as well as regular gigs in their home city.

Shindig magazine said this...

...'Stripped down acoustic instrumentation with haunting female/male vocal harmonies that recall eerie '70s kids TV shows like Children of the Stones and The Owl Service as much as they do Donovan, Vashti Bunyan or The Wicker Man soundtrack...'
