Bio

Nineteen-year-old lead vocalist Cassie Lee Dallas will take you on an empowering lyrical journey through passionate, dark, introspective musings emotively entwined with love, desperation and despair. Her vocals intimately stroke the uniquely power-driven arrangements emanating from the rest of the band.

The instrumental power comes from the combination of dynamic musicians, Chris King (guitar), Rage Carter (drums), Justin Gonzales (keyboards/ samples) and Andrew Barrington (bass). Blending solid song structure with complex instrumentation, Antonamasia creates a potent blend of raw energy and instrumentally muscular beauty. Individual influences as diverse as 36 Crazyfists, Metallica, Killswitch Engage and Mudvayne bring powerful ingredients to the musical mix.

Since forming in 2003, Antonamasia’s dedicated following has continued to swell as audiences across Australia have been treated to the captivating contrast of Cassie’s luxurious vocals and the dynamic intensity of the band’s consuming live performance.

Antonamasia have also been invited to support national and international acts such as 10 Years (US), Nitzer Ebb (UK), Liv Kristine’s Leaves’ Eyes (Germany) and Atrocity (Germany), Skinless (US).

After locking themselves away for 2 and a half weeks, Antonamasia completed recording their debut EP at 313 Music Studios with acclaimed producer dw Norton. The record was released Monday 2nd October 2006, through esteemed metal/hard rock label, Faultline Records.
