From R&B to Funk and Motown to Blues we will have your guests dancing and getting down. We play music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Our band works together permanently. We are not an agency band. We have been together since 1980. We can work as a duo, trio, 4 piece or more by adding our horn section.
We have played on shows with a lot of groups you know. OK, let me drop a few names. We've worked with Earth, Wind and Fire, The Commodores, The Bay Kays, Rufus and Chaka Khan, War, LaBelle, Parliament Funkadelic, The O'Jays, The Whispers, Rare Earth, The Isley Brothers, the Dells and others. We were called Leadhead back then.
We released our first CD last year. The "Broken Heart" CD. I wrote all of the songs except the covers on "Just My Imagination", "Very Superstitious" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". Our next CD is just about ready to be released. This one has a lot of up-tempo dance songs on it. I'm really proud of our cover of "Inner City Blues". Marvin Gaye did it first back in the day.
