How does the sad fish sing? Power melancholia from Budapest, Hungary.

Biography

How does the sad fish sing? The story of Anton Vezuv began in 2010, when Hungarian singer and songwriter Istvan locked the world out, moved into a basement in Budapest, where, dead to the world, he wrote a bunch of songs flowing into the sea of melancholy. With the songs seeking their 'owners', the band was created in a few month, and taking the name Anton Vezuv did they start to look after Istvan's compositions. During the slow, but instinctively flowing recordings of Anton Vezuv's first LP, the band played only a few, though very peculiar gigs. Even if quite seldom, but going on stage, Anton Vezuv played in most of the main clubs of Budapest. The first LP of Anton Vezuv 'Into the sea' was released on songwriter and band leader Istvan's birthday in September 2014.

Fishes

Written By: Istvan Gyulai

anton vezuv - fishes

will you see me
when i'm flying above?
will you call my name
during the plane crash?

will you sing me
heavy hearted russian songs?
will you talk to me
if i'm mute?

it's not for humans at all
and we’re not gods at all
we are together
and we are lonely

and we’re just standing above the
deep green sea
we are fishes
we are fishes

will you rise me up
if the death is caused by you?
will you breath in me
under the sea?

will you lie to me
when i've lied far enough?
will you start again
if it all ends?

it's not for humans at all
and we’re not gods at all
we are together
and we are lonely

and we’re just standing above the
deep green sea
we are fishes
we are fishes

I'm Sorry

Written By: Istvan Gyulai

anton vezuv - i'm sorry

Honey
Don’t lose your nerves
All day
you’re building a way
I’ll pack my bag
and I’ll get dressed
The hook won’t let me
away

I’m sorry, so sorry
I’m sorry, I’ll go home
I’m sorry, so sorry
I’m sorry, I’ll go home

Darlin’
You wear out my insides,
All right,
just calm down, at ease
We’ll see through the mountain
That hides our lands
But till that I’ll sail
away

I’m sorry, so sorry
I’m sorry, I’ll go home
I’m sorry, so sorry
I’m sorry, I’ll go home
