Antumbra began to take shape over a decade ago in a small town called Chillicothe, MO with several compositions from Drew and some of his close friends and it has marinated in the sauce of Missouri's vast music scene ever since. As life circumstances changed, Drew moved to the Kansas City area in early 2007 and started searching for musicians to launch the project that would become Antumbra.
Since its inception, Antumbra has played festivals, events and venues across the heartland for as many as 25,000+. Based in the Kansas City area, Antumbra blends original compositions and covers with a spontaneous twist which always leads to undiscovered jams that take the band for a ride as well as the listener. Always pushing the envelope and riding on the edge. Antumbra takes their music to places where few bands dare to go.
