Bio

Even though ABK was brought up in the Detroit area, far away from an Indian reservation, his Native American culture surrounded him from birth. His whole world was always densely enriched with music and his family’s roots. As the son of a preacher, he was constantly in church, where the choir voices and melodic piano pieces sent strong messages, inspiring ABK to begin his mystical, musical journey at a very young age – both in writing music and playing instruments. Throughout his youth, ABK attended POW WOWS and Native schools, combining his musical gift and organic heritage. By age fifteen, the neighborhood kids were paying ABK a couple bucks to watch him perform in his garage.

In 2001, ABK was introduced to the Psychopathic Records family, and began touring the country with Blaze as the opening act for Insane Clown Posse and Twiztid. ABK was getting such a huge response from the crowd that Psychopathic Records signed him as a solo artist, making him Psychopathic Records’ very own Hatchet Warrior. 2003 marked ABK’s first solo album, Hatchet Warrior, followed by Dirty History in 2004, and Road Fools in 2005, his first DVD/EP. ABK and Blaze partnered up as the duo, “Drive-By”, releasing a prelude album titled Pony Down in 2005. Then in 2008, his Mudface album was released, followed by two Psychopathic Records DVDs that ABK is featured in: A Family Underground and Big Money Rustlas,
