"Review for "The Curtain Call" off of The Battle To Remember LP"

"Any Given Week captured an infectious energy on this track. The lead vocal delievers a raw and convincing performance (the track wouldn't work as well if it didn't sound like your lungs might really "break open".) Cool fuzz bass and uniqure drum groove. Great shift to the more "straight" rhythm in the chorus. Some of the lyrics are a bit confusing, but I think that for this type of song, it's more about the vibe of the words, and the intensity of the performance, rather than the literal meaning of all the lyrics. Also, nice packaging and artwork!"

"driving melodies fit the emotion of the lyric well"

"Good structural balance"

"Intense lyrcis have a dark poetic vibe. some lines could be a bit more clear in their meaning, in my opinon" - TAXI

Bio

Any Given Week is looking to change the landscape and defy the standards set forth by the mainstream bureacracy of corporate rock today. AGW has a much different concept of what punk rock truly is by today's standards and hopes to supercede the bubblegum Grammy-winners by grasping the real voice of the youth. This is no-gimmick punk. This is working man's rock'n'roll. This is the revolution of the genre as you know it.

In order to practice what they preach, Any Given Week has cultivated three studio releases over five years and toured all over the midwest and west coast. While the first two releases were done produced by ex-88 Fingers Louie/ex-Rise Against's Dan Precision, their self-produced third studio record, The Battle To Remember, is one of the rawest, loudest, dirtiest, and most honest records to be released since 1988. AGW isn't stopping there, though. Spring and summer of 2007 will bring a wealth of schedules for the band and they will be seen touring extensively throughout the midwest and eastern U.S. to promote the new record out on Launchpad Records LLC. This album has everything!!! The fast-paced rock intro with "Act 1, Scene 1" and post hardcore rock like that on "Gone Forever" to the accoustic slow piece of "I've been asleep for a year"
