"Band continues to remain true to hometown roots"

Local band, Any Time Today, has been rocking out all over New Jersey while staying true to its members hometown.

Any Time Today is a band on the rise. Its members are from Lodi. The pop/rock band from Lodi played at the Bamboozle Festival in East Rutherford at the start of the summer and have opened for acts like Cartel, The Ataris and Stereo Skyline.

"Bamboozle was an amazing experience and the people they met were great. They played on Sunday right after Motley Crue, and right before Lil Wayne. They loved every second of it. Their goal is to work hard and get back to the Bamboozle festival again next year," said spokesperson for the band, Thomas Viso.

Any Time Today is made up of five members; Kasey Viso, 21, lead vocals; Pat Viso, 21, guitar; Anthony Allegretta, 24, guitar; Jay Kshatriya, 23, bass and Chris Viso, 22, drums. The men in Any Time Today have been playing together for more than four years with Kasey joining two years ago.

The relationship between band members is a special one because three of the band members, Kasey, Pat and Chris, are siblings. Kasey and Pat are twins, and are only 14 months younger than Chris.

"Growing up it was more like they we were triplets, and it actually makes being in a band together pretty easy and a lot of fun. They're always around to bounce ideas off each other when it comes to the song writing process, and who better then to spend all of your time with then your family," said Thomas Viso.

Band members also have a strong bond with their community. Members work and volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club of Lodi and have performed several benefit shows at the club. They also played the opening ceremony for the summer camp's Summer Olympics, and will hopefully be playing for the Garfield club in September at National Kids Day.

"Community means a lot to them. They are part of an amazing community of musicians. So, whenever they can, we try to bring a little of that community to other places. They are hoping to launch a community outreach program where they will be able to go and talk to younger kids about working hard and staying in school, while still following your dreams," Thomas Viso added.

"We have reached goals in the past two years we never dreamed of and whether or not we make it to a bigger stage we will continue to do the thing we love most and that is making and playing music," said Visio.

On Aug. 27, Any Time Today will be playing the Meadowsfest in Carlstadt at the Dragonfly where it will be accepting donations for the NJSPCA. The band's first self-titled album is available on iTunes. For more information about the band visit www.anytimetoday.net. It is also on Facebook and Twitter.
