we are currently very busy in the studio working hard on our first album and we have a single recorded that is due to be released late this year/early next year.

Bio
we are a five peice band from Auckland New Zealand and we go under the name Aotea-Raw. Composed of guitar,bass (all so plays trombone and trumpet in the band),drums.key boards, and a MC/singer. As a band with a high level of musician ship we write and perform originals with occasional covers mixed into our sets. Its hard to put an exact genre onto us but due to are various musical backgrounds we have created and play a mixture of funk,rock,soul,dance and hip hop. we all so have many stage props we use periodicaly to give our a show an even higher level of entertainment to our audience. At the moment we are gigging regularly and in the recording studio. we have single ready for release and currently making a music video to be released with it. We have worked very hard this year and the opportunity and privilage you can give us if you you choose Aotea-raw to play at your festival is a major thrill for us and we thank you for that chance.
