A Path Untravelled

A Path Untravelled is an acoustic instrumental act from the small town of Bracebridge, Ontario that consists of it’s only(at the moment) and founding member- Amber Johnson.

A Path Untravelled was founded in the late months of 2011 and finally named in the early months of 2012. Upon seeing many music videos and listening to many bands Amber fell in love with music. After hearing the empowering lyrics from the song Life In Motion in 2009 and watching the hit television series ’DisBAND’ since it first came out,she knew that she wanted to persue a career in the music field. She has the hopes and aspirations of becoming a sound engineer and playing shows on the side. She has a deep rooted passion for music and it comes from her heart.

With parts of the local scene being grim, A Path Untravelled's first performance was a open mic night/'coffeehouse' event at the local high school. After the performance, she quickly found a passion and love for the live performance aspect. Amber’s goal is to branch out and play shows and be on bills with musicians she admires and is inspired by. But most of all in general, Amber wants to have anyone listen to that simply wants to listen and to share her passion with everyone.

Musical influences are: Slow Motion Victory, Credit Valley,Crystalyne, SayWeCanFly, Courage My Love, Havenstance, All Time Low (in general but mostly their acoustic performances), Sleeping with Sirens.
