Bio

Apathy Theory has been a band for nearly 3 years. They have gone through several name and lineup changes, all making them a better band in the end. Apathy Theory got its roots from bands such as Deftones, Stutterfly, and System of a Down. Whereas these bands do not influence the band today, they are what got them started back then. After the loss of the original lead guitarist Mat Thorne, the band decided to take a new route musically. They wanted to get heavier and harder. Now with more screams and better guitar lines, they were well on their way. After lead guitarist Jared Robb quickly became one of the more talented guitarists of anyone in the area, the band's sound was becoming nothing short of spectacular. Their first full-length which came out in 2003, The Cup of Lies, showcased the new direction the band was taking. Soon after, in 2004, they released Seven Year Winter, a much more defined sound for the band. With songs such as Seven Year Winter embodying their sound as a whole. Then later that year they recorded their second demo. It was time to get serious as a professional band. They made three songs and put a lot of time and money into them to make them sound as good as possible. And it worked. The Last Shall Be First, as they called it, has been all over the internet showing people what a powerful force Apathy Theory has become. With their intense live performances and great melodic hardcore sound, they are sure to be just what you were looking for. What out, they're coming!
