The Apers are a punkrock band from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, who started playing in 1996. Since then they have played more than 900 shows all over the world, including tours in Europe, USA and the UK.
The band has released 5 full-length records. The last one, from 2009, was released by Asian Man Records from California, USA, home of bands like The Queers, Riptides, Kepi Ghoulie and Classics Of Love (ex- Operation Ivy).
The Apers has the pleasure of sharing stages with great bands like The Queers, Groovie Ghoulies, The Hives, Chixdiggit, Hanson Brothers, Dee Dee Ramones, Marky Ramone, Ben Weasel, Teenage Bottlerocket, The Mr. T Experience, Teen Idols, Heideroosjes, Epoxies, Pulley, Peter Pan Speedrock, Off With Their Heads, Dear Landlord, Mad Caddies, Methadones, Copyrights, The Ergs!, Toys That Kill, Yum Yums, Manges, Uncommon Men From Mars and Therapy?
In 2011 The Apers went to the US and Canadian East Coast for a 3-week tour with The Queers. In June they will visit California and Nevada for 10 more shows with this band.
After the summer, tours for Italy and France are planned, plus a split 10" with Sons Of Buddha on the French recordlabel Dirty Witch Records.
Besides playing punkrock, the Apers also run a small underground label called Monster Zero. This way they help bands that they feel deserve the attention.
