Apexx was born in the mid-eighties, when a few members of a large blues band, decided to break off and make a different kind of music. Soul, Funk and Motown had made an indellible mark on America, and for thirty years, we've been keeping that groove alive. Marvin, Aretha, Wilson Pickett, Chakka Kahn, AWB, Earth Wind and Fire all blend with newer cats like Frankie Beverly, Norman Brown and George Benson. As performers, what sets us apart is professionalism. We arrive, on time, well dressed, prepared, and deliver solid soulful sound that calls the listeners out of their seats and to the dance floor.
