Bio
Born as Motoko's recording project with her inspiring guitarist Eric Barlow, A+ Lips have naturally grown into a band as bassist Sean Lattrell and drummer Aaron Fisher joined. They keep on growing to emanate the refreshing vibration.
Some find much sweetness of her voice in "Your Moon Song" and pleasantly surprised by the darker "Release Your Knots" and wilder tunes like "Stolen Kisses" where everything is pretty much distorted and that is highly charged with the untamed, salvaged drum track from one of her old band Cahies' burried songs. At the same time one may feel unusually dreamy and euphoric with "Filled." But always in the deepest place, this is a natural manifestation of everything Motoko feels honestly every moment, reflecting her timelessness and spiritual freedom being a Reiki Master.
Motoko's wide-ranging musical experience including her childhood classical piano lessons, high school girl rock band, Japanese pop song writing in youth, and the band in her Boston era contributes A+ Lips' multifaceted set of songs.
