Bio
Apollos Arrows consist of three lifelong friends, Ed Bidgood, Matt Freer and Alex Binks, who began playing music together at the tender age of 16. The trio are from the sleepy seaside town of Exmouth, Devon. A mutual love for exciting live music and passionate song writing, coupled with the growing boredom in their hometown was the catalyst that enabled them to break out of their surroundings and begin crafting their vision, paving a path to brighter horizons.
The band started their journey as Resonate and after 4 years of promoting releases, clocking up in excess of 300 live shows across the UK and Europe, they built a strong following and an excellent reputation for their exhilarating and epic live shows. Following this exposure, they received great critical acclaim from the likes of Kerrang! and Rocksound, alongside radio play and press features.
After taking a year out to travel, study and pursue other musical avenues, the boys have reunited and relocated to Southampton, UK, to begin a new era for the band as Apollos Arrows. After months locked away, shaping and refining a new sound and direction, the band have finished recording what is to be their debut EP entitled Young, Romantic Mannequins. The EP showcases their raw energy, powerful song writing and innovation.
Apollos Arrows are self-releasing the EP this January and are playing a host of dates in support of this. They are extremely excited about the prospects and opportunities for the future and are poised to engage the release with extensive touring and promotion fulfilling their burning ambition.
