Apollo's Heir

Hailing from the sound-washed streets of Manchester, Apollo's Heir are a five-piece rock outfit combining edgy guitar licks with catchy melodies and rich harmonies. Comparable to the best bits of Thrice, RX Bandits and Red Hot Chili Peppers mashed together with a healthy splash of Queen-esque exuberance for good measure, the boys' rep is growing with every gig thanks to that blistering live show and punchy sound – at times aggressive, but then perversely mellow to boot.

Musically, the band are on a roll. Their debut EP - recorded by the Durutti Column's own Keir Stewart - is hot off the press and already making it onto the airwaves on local stations such as Salford City Radio and North Manchester FM. Having established themselves as a favourite of Mancester's top promoters and with their loyal mob of fans growing into the hundreds, Apollo’s Heir are not to be missed and soon not to be forgotten.
