Hard and heavy rock of the melodic kind! With the ever increasing presence of hardcore influences in modern hard rock music, it’s a breath of fresh air to hear some vocals once in a while! What Apostolos brings to the table is just that: double bass drums, shredding guitar riffs, complex bass lines, and vocals that range from crooning to the occasional low end growl. Having both booked and seen Apostolos a number of times, I can confidently say that the band shows a consistent curve of improvement. For this Thanksgiving weekend, the band revealed their newest song: Facelift. This song took Apostolos to the 10th power, with modern sounding guitar lines, timing changes, and the ever present political lyrics. Judging by the crowd reaction, it seems like the band has stumbled on the right combination for their sound. This is a band of brothers with a mission, one of unconditional love yet uncompromising values.

Bio
Formed in the summer of 2002, Apostolos is a four member band that have brought forth each ones originality and musical influences to make a bold and passionate sound. Characteristically, Apostolos have set themselves apart from the mainstream (screamo/pop) to be noticed as a band that is confident in being seperate from the pop world. With metal dynamics, thumping bass strings, energy driving drum beats and vocals that are rugged but clear; Apostolos are able to bring the message of positivity and change.
The name Apostolos was chosen out of the Greek dictionary that describes who we are and what we are about. The name also has a deep and somewhat dark appeal that coexists in the world of metal and hard rock music. Although our intentions and lyrics are on the opposite spectrum. Apostolos bring the light into the dark!
