Although years in the making, A.M. has only been a tangible entity since late 2009. It was only a matter of time for these two friends to share their thoughts and energy with people.

Ialive has been making beats since 2004 and both he and Enigma shared a common love for underground Hip Hop. What seemed like the only natural thing to do would be supply lyrics to these soundscapes heavily influenced by such beatmakers such as: Dj Premier, RJD2, Rza, El-P, Prince Paul, Blockhead, Dan the Automator, etc.

The message is in the music; positive, thought-provoking, reflective, sincere and downright fun. Applied Minds truly represents the action of what Enigma and ialive do: Mentally apply themselves to make sure what they create is interesting to not only other people but satisfies their own ears.
